GLS (General Logistics Systems) is one of Europe's largest parcel networks, operating in 41 countries across Europe and beyond. Founded in 1989, GLS specialises in reliable B2B and B2C parcel delivery with scan-by-scan tracking from collection to delivery. GLS tracking updates at each depot scan, providing real-time visibility through the GLS website and SMS notifications. The network covers over 40,000 ParcelShops as alternative delivery points, and FlexDelivery allows recipients to redirect or reschedule deliveries before the driver arrives.
GLS FlexDelivery lets recipients choose a convenient delivery time, redirect to a GLS ParcelShop, or authorise delivery to a neighbour — via SMS or email link sent before delivery.
Over 40,000 GLS ParcelShops across Europe. If you miss a delivery, your parcel is automatically redirected to the nearest ParcelShop and held for up to 7 days.
GLS sends SMS alerts when your parcel is out for delivery and again after successful delivery. You can reply to the SMS to activate FlexDelivery options.
GLS Business Parcel provides electronic proof of delivery with recipient name and signature timestamp — ideal for commercial shipments requiring delivery confirmation.
