The most common pallet in Europe is the EUR Pallet (EPAL), measuring 120 cm × 80 cm with a max stack height of 220 cm and max load of 1,000 kg. The UK pallet (120 × 100 cm) is widely used in the UK and Ireland.
It depends on your box dimensions and the pallet size. Use the calculator above to enter your specific box size. A rule of thumb: a EUR pallet with 60×40×40 cm boxes can hold approximately 16–24 boxes depending on stacking.
Pallet shipping is typically priced by pallet space (full pallet or quarter/half pallet) and weight. Full pallet rates within the EU range from €80–€250 for economy, and €150–€400 for express. Weight limits and max stack heights apply.
Fragile goods should generally be stacked no more than 1.2 m high and marked clearly. Use corner boards and stretch wrap to stabilise the load. Contact us for specialist fragile cargo handling.
A full pallet (FTL fraction) is one complete pallet occupying its own space in the vehicle. LTL (Less than Truck Load) means your pallets share trailer space with other shippers, which is cheaper but may take longer.
