Booking a shipment with Cargosender takes less than five minutes. You enter your parcel details, see live prices from multiple carriers, choose the service that best fits your needs, and pay online. Here is exactly what happens at each step.
Step 1: Enter Your Parcel Details
Go to Cargosender.com and enter your parcel's origin country, destination country, weight, and dimensions (length, width, height in cm). These four pieces of information are used to calculate accurate quotes. Be precise about dimensions — carriers charge based on whichever is higher between actual weight and volumetric weight, so oversizing your parcel in the form will show you a higher price than you will actually need to pay.
Step 2: Compare Live Quotes
After entering your details, you will see a list of available services from multiple carriers. Each quote shows the carrier name, service level (economy, standard, or express), transit time in business days, and the total price including all surcharges. Prices are live — they reflect current carrier pricing and fuel surcharge levels.
Compare by the combination of price and transit time that fits your situation. Economy services cost less and take longer; express services cost more and deliver faster. You can filter by transit time if you have a deadline.
Step 3: Enter Sender and Recipient Details
Select the service you want and enter the full collection address (sender) and delivery address (recipient). Make sure postcode, street number, and country are accurate — incorrect addresses cause failed collections or deliveries and may attract correction surcharges. Include a phone number for the recipient so the carrier can reach them if needed.
Step 4: Pay and Print Your Label
Complete payment using a credit or debit card. Immediately after payment, your booking is confirmed and your shipping label is available to download and print as a PDF. Print the label, attach it securely to the outside of your parcel (flat, fully visible, not over a seam), and it is ready for collection at your scheduled time.
Your booking confirmation email contains the tracking number, which you or your recipient can use to follow the shipment in real time on the carrier's tracking page or in your Cargosender account dashboard.
